The Echo Base joined the 501st New England Garrison at the Danvers Loews to help promote the new movie and raise money for the Jimmy Fund. The charity photos taken at the opening weekend festivities raised over $2700!

Members of the Rebel Legion and 501st took part in a great premiere day event in Swansea MA. The group raised over $250 for a local charity, and got to bring an extra thrill for the dedicated fans in the area.

Members of the Rebel Legion, 501st and Fanforce all converged on the Times Square Toys R Us as part of their midnight release of the new Episode III toys. With over 50 costumed volunteers, this was definitely a Times Square sized event!!

The Toys R Us in Rochester NY also had an Episode III midnight toy release event. The Rebel Legion, Fanforce and 501st were there to help make the event even more exciting for the huge line of fans waiting for their toys!

The Echo Base was invited to participate in a special promotional event being put on in Times Square by M&M and Lucasfilms LTD. Anthony Daniels was present as C3PO, as was the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. Also present was a 3/4 scale X-wing fighter! This was a huge event, and a great thing to be part of!!!

The Echo Base had a great showing at Super Megafest this year. We were able to give Kenny Baker an Honorary membership to the Rebel Legion, help the 501st NEG with the Toys for Tots drive, and keep the Imperials in line!

At the same time as Supermegafest, other members of the Echo Base were at the Big Apple Con in NYC. This was an informal "non costumed" event where everyone was able to relax and enjoy the company of Peter Mayhew, Daniel Logan and David Prowse.

Dragoncon 2004 once again featured the Rebel Legion in the parade. Jodi and Justin from Echo Base were there.

Empire Fanfest was a great opportunity, as the Echo Base was able to make Mark Hamill an Honorary Member.
